GENRE: symphonic music
“In my travels across the world I often meet groups of young Polish artists who left their country in the hope of finding their places in the musical firmament. Every year, talented musicians graduate from our excellentschools and academies. Frequently, however, they cannot find the place they deserve in the Polish music world. Gradually, they lose the skills acquired during their long and painstaking studies, and they are forced to pursue professional careers abroad. Clearly we cannot accept a situation in which our youth is driven by bitter disappointment to take their chances in distant, often – very distant lands. Thanks to the sympathetic treatment of our cause by the highest officials of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, we have now been able to bring about the foundation of the Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra.”
