Piotr Karpeta

Piotr Karpeta graduated from the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, where he took the position of assistant lecturer. He was the choirmaster of the Opole Philharmonic for ten years, rehearsing and conducting dozens of concert programs and recordings. He is the director of Wrocławscy Kameraliści, conductor of Cantores Minores Wratislavienses, co-founder of the Ars Cantus ensemble as well as the “Oktoich” (Orthodox Church Male Choir) at SS Cyril and Methodius Church in Wrocław. As a conductor and singer he has performed in over twenty countries, and has taken part in numerous programmes recorded by Polish Radio and Television as well as record companies.
