Małgorzata Wojciechowska
MAŁGORZATA WOJCIECHOWSKA studied modern flute at the Łódź Academy of Music and baroque flute (traverso) at the Royal Conservatoire in the Hague (in the class of Wilbert Hazezet) where she specialised in the interpretation of early music. She also attended many master courses, among others studying under the direction of Barthold Kuijken. From 1989-1992 she played with the baroque orchestra “Collegium Europae” under the direction of Wieland Kuijken. She has appeared as soloist with most of the Polish groups performing baroque and classical music on period instruments performing in numerous concerts: (National Philharmonic, Wratislavia Cantans etc.). She has made many recordings for Polish Radio and also appeared several times as soloist in concerts at the International Summer Academy of Early Music in Wilanów. transmitted to European radio stations as part of the summer festival of European Radio of the EBU. Since 1992 she has conducted master courses at this Academy. She cooperates with the Warsaw Chamber Opera and the Academy of Music in Kraków where since 1999 she has conducted the class in Baroque Flute (traverso).
