Michał Moc
Born in 1977, he is connected with the Music Academy in Wrocław, from which he graduated with an honours degree in composition and accordion, and which has given him the important opportunity to pursue a teaching career, first as a junior lecturer, and now, after his doctorate, as an assistant professor to Prof. Grażyna Pstrokońska-Nawratil. He has won numerous prizes both for his compositions and instrumental performances. In his works, which have had performances both in Poland and abroad, he gives pride of place to the accordion and symphonic music. The artist plays a specially produced Borsini instrument purchased with a ‘Young Poland’ scholarship from the funds of the Ministry of Culture and the National Heritage. Since 2007, he has been one of the artists selected for the programme of the promotion of young composers, established by the European Krzysztof Penderecki Music Centre
