Tomasz Kaszubowski
He started his musical education at the Stanisław Moniuszko State School of Music in Ciechanów (Poland) with Cezary Kosturkiewicz (Grade 1) and next with Leszek Potasiński and Ryszard Bałauszko (Grade 2). The latter was also his teacher at the Warsaw Music Academy.
In 1993 Tomasz Kaszubowski won the first prize in the Warsaw Guitar Competition. In 1995-1996 he received several mentions in the International Guitar Competitions in Krynica (Poland). In 1996 he played in the concert Escuela Polaca at the guitar festival in the Canary Islands. In 1999 he was awarded at the International Guitar Meeting in Gdańsk (Poland).
Tomasz Kaszubowski has accompanied many poetic singers, sharing their successes at numerous festivals. His long-standing interest in Latin American music has born fruit in a work on Argentinian national dances. Tomasz Kaszubowski teaches guitar (grade 1 and 2) at the Paderewski State School of Music in Żyrardów (Poland).
