Lwowska Sinfonietta

A chamber music ensemble (founded in 1992) specializing in contemporary music. The core of the group is the string quartet of Volodimir Duda, supported by the prominent pianist and contemporary music performer Jozsef Örmeny. The Sinfonietta, conducted since 1996 by Roman Revakovich, has performed in Kiev, Krakow, Freiburg. It also takes part in contemporary music festivals \’Contrasts\’ in Lvov.

The group consists of Volodimir Duda (violin/concert master), Roman Sokruta (violin), Vadim Pedorich (viola), Yuri Laniuk (cello), Taras Mencinsky (cello), Ruslan Lucik (bass), Andrei Savitsky (flute), Ivan Kulyniak (oboe), Yuri Korchinsky (clarinet), Jozsef Örmeny (piano).
