Andrzej Budejko
Born in Warsaw in 1963, he attended a high school of music in the class of Halina and Tadeusz Zakrzewski. He studied at the Warsaw Academy of Music (with Prof. Z. Pluzek). In 1985 he won a prize in the International Bassoon Competition in Vercelli (Italy). In 1983-1986 he was a member of the Polish Chamber Orchestra led by Jerzy Maksymiuk. Since 1986 he has been a soloist in the National Philharmonic Orchestra. He has performed with the Sinfonia Varsovia (under Yehudi Menuhin) and the Amadeus Orchestra (under Agnieszka Duczmal). He also plays chamber music with the Woodwind Quintet at the National Philharmonic and is a musical educator.
