This Polish pianist graduated with a distinction from Tadeusz Chmielewski’s piano class in the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź. She won the 1st prize in the Johann Sebastian Bach Piano Competition in Łódź (1985) and the 2nd prize for piano trios (1st not granted) in the International Chamber Music Competition in Łódź (1989). In 1989 she received a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and Art. She has participated in a number of piano interpretation courses conducted by such tutors as Victor Merzhanov, Andrzej Jasiński and Rudolf Kerer. She is on the faculty of the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań, where in 2010 she qualified as an independent university lecturer.

The artist’s repertoire ranges from great piano classics to contemporary works, solo and chamber music. She performs with many other artists, e.g. in a piano duo with Joanna Przybylska, with the mezzo-soprano Agnieszka Makówka-Saciuk, the flutists Urszula Janik and Krzysztof Malicki, and the violinist Jarosław Pietrzak. She gives performances in Poland as well as abroad: in Germany, France, Russia, Estonia, and Latvia. She has participated in the successive “Musica Moderna” Sessions held in the Academy of Music in Łódź. Her CD recordings include the works of a contemporary composer from Łódź – Bronisław K. Przybylski – as well as a solo album with Beethoven and Schubert sonatas.
